HELP & GUIDANCE
Keep your next step simple.
A few answers to help you learn with confidence.
Where should I begin?
Sign in with your KEYBAKI account in Get started, then open My Skills. Computer Foundations is a good starting place if you are new to computers. You can also choose any learning area that interests you.
How does Tcha help?
Show me demonstrates an activity. Guide me gives you steps as you practise. Let me try lets you work more independently. Use the sound and text settings to make instructions comfortable to follow.
Where is my progress saved?
Your progress saves to your KEYBAKI account as you learn, so it is there on any computer and there is nothing to back up. If the connection or your sign-in is lost, the workspace locks until you are back. If you learned on this computer before signing in, you can bring that progress into your account once, by choosing your own name; nothing moves unless you choose it.
Can we share a computer?
Yes. Each person signs in with their own KEYBAKI account. When you finish, choose Sign out of Labs, and sign out of KEYBAKI too.
Can I learn offline?
Learning in your account needs an internet connection: progress saves online, and the workspace locks while you are offline. Everything saved before the connection dropped is there when you reconnect and sign in.
Why does an activity ask for a computer?
Some tasks teach physical keyboard and mouse skills. A phone cannot provide the same practice. The activity will explain what you need; you can still explore other areas.
